Altahlee Felkel

Altahlee Bewley Felkel,90, of 809 Woodrow Circle, widow of Fred Wilson Felkel, died Saturday at her home.

Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late William Douglas and Emma Whiteside Bewley. She was a member of St. John's Methodist Church, Woman's Society of Christian Service,, organized and was the first teacher of the Mary O. Holler Sunday School class.

Surviving are daughter, Mrs, Thomas (Catherine) Talbot of Houston, Texas, Mrs, Stanford (Louise) Finney of Martinsville, Va., Mrs, Charles (Dorothy) Truluck of Darlington, Mrs Arthur (Emma Lee) Holman Jr. of Anderson: son Fred Willson Felkel Jr. of Columbia; sisters, Mrs. Theo Burriss of Anderson, Mrs. William Goforth of Stauton, Va.; 12 grandchildren, four great-grand children.

Graveside services at 11 a. m. Monday at Old Silver Brook Cemetery by Dr. Thomas H. Halbot and the Rev. Mike Vandiver.

The body is at Sullivan-King Mortuary. The family is at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Arthur E. Holman, Jr., Broadway Lake.

The family respectfully requests tat flowers be omitted. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
