Alvina (Allie) Allison

of Granger, Texas. Allie Allison was age 18 when she married C.J. Keliehor. She was a little Baptist girl that lived East of Granger. Her father owned lots of cotton land and a Gin at Friendship Community (now under a lake). Her brothers Grover and Leonard knew Charlie Keliehor and he asked to be introduced to her. She was a pretty black haired, blue-eyed little girl just home from Baylor Belton College. She played a small pump organ for their community church. Charlie turned the pages for her. When they married – it had rained 14 inches, water was everywhere, creeks out of banks. The groom got there but not the Keliehor family. The wedding guests and bride and groom all had to stay overnight at the bride's home. Mother and dad left the next day on horseback but not by buggy as planned.
