Mrs A J E Brown, age 76, died at her home, Horton Rt 2 Tuesday Dec 26. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec 27 at Zion Hill church, Archer-Stanfild directing. Survivors are husband, 4 sons, 1 daughter, one brother and 2 sisters.

Amanda was the daughter of Jonathan Wiley Estes and Clarinda Stone. Her father died between 1882 & 1900. Her mother is last found living in the household of her brother, Malen Bannister Estes, in 1900 Franklin Co GA.

Her paternal grandparents were Cain Estes and Rachel Harris. Maternal grandparents were Bannister Stone and Millicent Johnson.
