The friends of Mrs John Anderson were shocked and deeply grieved to learn of her death this morning which occurred at the Swedish Hospital in Kansas City during the night. The news came by telephone to her daughter, Miss Delia Ladd, who was prostrated by the news. Mrs Anderson went to Kansas City about two weeks ago for treatment at the hospital, and the last word which came from her, only two or three days ago was most encouraging. The news of her death is therefore all the more sad because of the surprise that accompanies it. The body doubtless will be brought to Iola for interment, but details have not yet been made. Mrs Anderson was attended by her daughter, Mrs. R C Clark and by her son Frank Anderson, recently returned from France, both of whom live in Kansas City.
