Inscription: This Monument is erected by order of WILLIAM BURR in commemoration of his honoured mother, Amelia who was the partner and widow of Ebenezer Burr, son of Samuel & Elizabeth Burr late of Fairfield. Deceast also lived the partner and died the widow of Abel Gold Son of Samuel Gold late of Fairfield Deceast was the Daughter of Ebenezer Silliman Esq'r. late of Fairfield Deceast was born in the Year 1736 and died in the Year 1794 Aged 58 Years.
