About Amir Siti Khatun
- from Continuity and Change in Medieval Persia by Ann K.S. Lambton:
When Mahmud b. Muhammad rebelled against Sanjar in 513/1119-20, his mother, who was also Mahmud’s grandmother, apparently persuaded Sanjar to make peace with his nephew. It was probably after this that Sanjar married his daughter Mah-i Mulk to Mahmud. When she died at the age of seventeen, Sanjar sent another daughter, Amir Siti Khatun to be Mahmud’s wife.
