Andrea Janine Torrey (nee Kohere), born 1969 was a Gisborne woman who was found dead on a school field in Gisborne having been beaten and strangled. Her husband was charged with the murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. After committing the murder during a break from work, her husband chose to dump her body at Lytton High School as this was where Andrea's father, Henry worked as a caretaker.
