About Andreas Andersson
Andreas occupation listed in 1805 as Drangen from Stommen. Stommen is the farm that provides for the pastor. (According to my Swedish/English dictionary, a 'drang' is a farmhand.)
In 1841 his residence was listed as undantagsman, which is defined as: "former owner of the farm, now living there receiving support from the person to whom the farm now belongs"
Andreas married Britta Andersdotter June 24, 1805 in Ottum Parish, Skaraborg.* They had 8 children, but their second child, Bolla was the only one who survived to adulthood. None of the other 7 lived past the age of 2 1/2 years.
After the death of Britta (May 13,1818), Andreas married Maria Arvidsdotter in 1820. They had 5 children
(*Skaraborg County was a county in Sweden from 1634 until 1997. It was disestablished at the end of 1997 when it was merged with the counties of Gothenburg and Bohus and Alvsborg to form Vastra Gotaland County.)
