About Andrew Jackson Aldridge, I
He was the son of Nathan and Hannah Alldredge. He was part of a group of settlers that came from Bledsoe Co., Tn on Keel Boats in 1816 and settled in Blount County near Brooksville. He is said to have planted the first apple tree in Blount County. He married Leah Chaney about 1806.
