About Andrew Marklin
He was born somewhere in Croatia on May 25 1882. Came to U.S. in 1902 on the ship Breslau by way of Bremen Germany. Landed in Baltimore. Moved to Pitts. Penn. and probably met Anna Bubash there and they married. About 1915 they moved to Det. Mi. where he probably worked at Ford in Highland Park. He was educated and it is believed that he taught school from time to time. He was also handy with tools because he built a couple of houses on Hull St. in Det. Little more is know about him. He died on Oct. 20, 1927.
