Attorney with Darling & McClintock, vice-president of Wyoming National Bank, director of Miners' Saving Bank of Wilkes-Barre, librarian and treasurer of the Historical Society, director of the Osterhout Free Library, member of the Sons of the Revolution. Great Grandson of Matthias Hollenback. Married Eleanor LaPorte Welles in 1880. Son, Gilbert S. McClintock, donated 44 South River Street to Wilkes University in 1951. Educated at the College of New Jersey, at Princeton, and graduated in 1872. After his education he studied law with his father and J. V. Darling; admitted to the Luzerne Bar in 1876.
