Gravestone inscription is said to have been: "JOHN and ANDREW caused this stone to be placed over the remains of their father ANDREW MURRAY sometime farmer in Mill of Clatt d Jun1799 aged 58 and of their mother ISOBEL MILNE d May 1821 aged 67. Their brothers WILLIAM and JAMES and sisters. Both named ..... are interred under or near this stone." (gravestone broken across centre)

Andrew Murray [II], of Clatt, Aberdeenshire, sheep-breeder, said to have been the son of another Andrew Murray (see below), m. before 1784,[117] Isobel/Isabel Milne, and had the following issue, all baptized at Clatt (the dates given below are possibly birth-dates):[118]

John A. Murray, bapt. 11 March 1784. He became a minister at Abderdeen, and performed the 1820 marriage of his sister Elizabeth’s stepson Peter.[119]
James Murray, bapt. 24 Feb. 1786; he appears to have remained at Clatt, married, and had children.
Elizabeth Murray, bapt. 16 Dec. 1787, second wife of the Rev. James Robertson (see ROBERTSON above).
William Murray, bapt. 4 Jan. 1790.
Sarah Murray, bapt. 27 Sept. 1792.
