About Andrew Stewart, of Roslyn, Laird of Belshagry

Do not confuse him with the Andrew Stewart who married the Grant heiress.

Andrew of Rosland (Rosline), in the shire of Bute, in Rothesay, of whom the Stewarts of Rosline and Balinshautrie are descended. [1] He was a tenant of Rosland in Rothsay (Rothesay on the island of Bute).

He was the Laird of Balshagry (absorbed into Glasgow) in Lanarkshire.

The Lairds of Scarrel are descended from him.
