Andrew Wilkes (1973 - 2005)

Brief overview:

Andrew (32), was shot dead on his Nooitgedacht smallholding in Muldersdrift on 28th February 2005 at around 21h45. He passed away a short while later at the Wilgeheuwel Hospital.

The family had just arrived at their farm after visiting friends, when three men attacked them. Police spokesperson, Sgt. Katlego Mogale, said that after Andrew opened the front door he went back outside and the three men were waiting for him. "One of the perpetrators shot him in the chest after which they entered the house. They tied up Wilkes wife with a electrical cord."

Mogale also said that it didn't appear that the perpetrators had stolen anything.
