Angie lived in Walsall for some time before moving to Brownhills after the death of her second husband Bryan Mcnamara.
A few years later she relocated to Weoly Castle then to Northfield (Frankley Beeches Road) In Birmingham.
She enjoyed writing poetry, one of which was published in a poetry book, this was one of her greatest achievements
Fly
To my family. With eternal love.
As the sunset downs, my dreams arise
When the black sky frowns, I just close my eyes
Moonlight shimmers as starlight dances
My subconscious mind shares all of its fancies
Standing on a mountain, with wind in my hair
Clothes softly blowing, as I whisper a thankful prayer
Arms outstretched to embrace the world around
Head up in the clouds with my feet still on the ground
A rainbow trance, with colours mixed and swirled
Raindrops prance, as another dream’s unfurled
Fly through the skies, gliding as a bird
Ever-watchful eyes, sorrow being absurd
Swooping toward a river, that glistens in the sun
Rising to the highest heights, until the day is done
As the chilled eve makes me feel alive
Sunset means that I’ve arrived
No standing in towers surrounded by thorns
Or laying in dungeons filled with woe’s and mourns
Just to fly in my sleep and dream sweet dreams
Escaping the world, flying o’er mountains and streams.
