Angharad Teall (Trafford)

A baptism date was given me of 18th July 1800 but I cannot locate it.

Her marriage date is taken from the Philimore Marriage Registers but there is a transcription error on FMP of significance. The date from the record list is 5th May 1818 (not 1828)

1841 is at Gothic Cottage with James, a shoemaker and 7 children.

1851 at Gothic Cottage with Husband and only Abraham, a gardener and David.

1861 is with her husband at Gothic Cottage: all the children have left home. She is 61 and occupied as a dressmaker. Her name is recorded as Ann Jearrad Teil!

Died 1870 q3, age 71, in Cheltenham but as in life her name is wrong again: she is Augerhad Teall! The mistakes continue even on the headstone that was in Bethel Chapel, Cheltenham, The transcription has her name correct but date of death of 16th September 1871 age 72. Birth year agrees between the records as 1799. Death year is taken as the earlier BMD official year.
