Ann (___)'s birth and origins are unknown. She married c 1636, Thomas Andrews, who was born about 1611 and had settled at Dorchester, Massachusetts by 1634. [1]
Thomas died at Dorchester on May 20, 1673. [2] [1]
Thomas wrote his will on April 6, 1667, which was proved on August 4, 1673. [1] [3] In it he names:
- wife Ann, the use of the whole estate until her death
- son Thomas, the estate after his mother's decease
- daughter Hannah Hopkins
- children of Hannah
- wife Ann and son Thomas named executors
- over seers James Blake and Samuel Clap [1]
The estate inventory taken on Amy 20, 1673, was valued at L 181 7s 5d, with L147 10s being real estate and L1 9s 7d in mason's tools and implements. [1] [3]
His widow Ann died there on January 13, 1684/5. [2] [1]
Children
- Hannah born c 1636: married William Hopkins; joined the church at Roxbury. [1]
- Thomas baptized on June 23, 1639 at Dorchester; married Phebe Goard on December 31, 1667. [2] [1 ]
