William Bean married first Celia Wyatt. (source is George Washington Bean of Salt Lake City, UT, an Elder in the church, in his published work) William's first child, Peter Bean, born circa 1774 in North Carolina, is probably the son of his first wife, who seems to have died immediately after his birth.
William married second, Ann Scott, born 1760 in Scotland, the daughter of William Scott (born 1728) and his wife, Mary (born 1733), wo came to America about the same time William Bean came in 1769.

Ann Scott was the daughter of daughter of William Scott and Mary Milton,
Ann Scott was baptized 17 Aug 1760, Sutton Coldfield, Holy Trinity, Warwickshire, England [1]
She immigrated with her family to Charleston, South Carolina in 1768 with a group of poor Protestant refugees from north Ireland.[2]
Ann married William Bean, son of William and Naomi (Bates) Bean.
