"Ann Brinton, daughter of William and Ann (Bagley) Brinton, was born in Worcestershire, England, July 19, 1660, and died in 1719. She married, June 18, 1684, at Stourbridge, Staffordshire, England, John Bennett, son of John and Margery (ffello) Bennett. He was baptized January 20, 1656, at Worcestershire, England, and died 1709, at Birmingham, Pennsylvania. They came to Pennsylvania after her father and the rest of the family had come."[1]
"A few years after William Brinton settled in Chester County, John Bennett of Overly, Worcestershire, England, and his wife Ann Brinton, daughter of William, arrived. John selected a large tract of land adjoining that of his father-in-law on the north... His parents, John and Margery (Fello) Bennett, and many others of the name were among those who suffered and were sent to prison for their Quaker belief."[2]
