About Mrs Ann Bestwistle : Doris Brook Wood was writing about Richard Wood of Fulcoats (1673-1734), when she mentioned that : "He married his cousin of Mill House Catherine Wood (this told me by Great Uncle John, Mrs Ann Bestwistle only daughter of my Uncle James Wood of Flaxmoss, May 1868)." Perhaps Doris Wood could not quite remember which person had given her the information.
