The Thomas Gay (d 1650) who married Mary Bryan was a Quaker but not the probable son of Thomas Gay and Rebecca Page as stated by Boddie.[1] The evidence (Thos Page's will 1720) indicates that the Thomas who m. Rebecca Page was a different man & died young with only one daughter.
