About Ann Gorham
Ann Gorham, 90, died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at the Laurels of Bedford coming from the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans where she resided since 2001. Ann was born on January 13, 1919, in Dietz, Wyoming, the daughter of Frank and Barbara(Grgulas) Golyar. She was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during WWII. She attended St. Philip School and Argubright Business College. She married Colon Gorham, he preceded her in death in 1989. She was a member of the D.A.V. and the American Legion #298. Surviving are children, Fran Bruce of CA, Linda (Bob) Hook- Smith of NM, Tim (Sherry LaChapell) Hook of Battle Creek, JoAnn Wilson-Dore of TX and Pam Wilson-Karazim of Battle Creek; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son Myron Bruce in 1973. and a grandson Eric Hook. A graveside service with full military honors will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials May be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
