THE FOUNDATION OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
To the Editor.
Sir—I notice in Saturday's "West Australian" a mistake regarding the foundation of the colony. My father's name is Peter Nicolas Broun, first Colonial Secretary in this colony with Sir James Stirling, Governor, not James Brown, as published. We all came out in the Parmelia.
Forgive me for putting wrong right.—Yours, etc., ANNIE MACNEIL. Fremantle, May 30.
