Daughter of John Marsh and Mary she was born in 1758 and christened on 7 Oct 1759 in Saint Thomas Church in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. On 8 Mar 1783 she married George Turnbull at Saint Mary's Church in Portsea, Hampshire, England. She was buried on 16 Jul 1825 in Portsea, Hampshire, England. Note the death date above is the burial date.

George Turnbull and Ann March had the following children all born in Portsea, Hampshire, England and christened at Saint Mary's Church:

1) Ann Turnbull (1783 – 1826) who married Thomas Cotton (1767 -).

2) George Turnbull (1785 - 1858) who married Jane Burbidge (1794 –) who is the progenitor of the Turnbull family of Boston, Massachusetts.

3) John Turnbull (1785 - before 1788). died very young.

4) William Turnbull (1787 – 1820).

5) John Turnbull (1788 - 1813).

6) Nancy Turnbull (1790 - 1816) who married William Chinn (1786 - 1856) and has many living descendants via their one son Henry Chinn (1807 - 1842).

7) Mary Turnbull (1793 –) who was possibly the same Mary who married John Gange and died in 1793.

There is also a Lucy Turnbull who married James Lawler on 24 Sep 1812 in Holy Trinity Church, Gosport, Hampshire, England. She may also be a daughter or a cousin but I can not find her christening record. She married in the same church as George Turnbull within one year which is why I suspect a family relationship. But she could also be a cousin.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Oct 13 2022, 0:58:51 UTC
