About Ann Wilds
Ann was born in Carlton, Yorkshire, England. First husband, William Clemens, died 7 Aug 1850 on the plains of Wyoming in a wagon accident. He was knocked down by a team that trod on his body and a heavy wagon passed over him. He is buried in Wyoming. Ann arrived in Salt Lake City on 26 Sept 1850 with three little children and six oxen. She was sealed to William in 1852 in President Young's office. Ann married again and had two more children. She married James Clements. He went back East to help other emigrants and was drowned in the Missouri River.
