           [from Scope and Content] Lease and release made between 1. John Whyman of Aston gentleman and Thomas Haywood of Weston farmer (Whyman's trustee) 2. Mary Dakin of Aston widow 3. John Robinson of Weston yeoman, John Briggs of King's Newton yeoman and John Wilson of Stenson yeoman executors of will of James Henshaw late of Weston farmer and 4. Erasmus Darwin the younger of Derby gent. whereby for £200 paid to Whyman and 5s paid to Haywood by Mary Dakin, Haywood, at Whyman's appointment, conveyed to Mary Dakin a close some time since inclosed by Act of Parliament out of Aston Moor and containing 3 acres 20p in the occupation of John Gee, and tithes arising in the close, reciting mortgage by demise for 1,000 years dated 30 May 1781, made by 1) William Rolleston of Aston baker and Elizabeth his wife to 2) Joseph Thacker of Wiln Mills miller, of the premises inter alia, for securing £200 and interest, and reciting the assignment of the term 16 November 1787 made between 1) William Rolleston baker and wife Elizabeth 2) Seth Cullumbell yeoman and wife Elizabeth 3) William Dudley staymaker 4) John Whyman and Thomas Haywood and 5) James Henshaw farmer, whereby the term was assigned to Henshaw in trust for Whyman, and that Henshaw is now dead and witnessing the assignment of the term to Darwin in trust for Mary Dakin, and with covenant for production of title deeds to the premises.
