Anna (Chana) Fleischer (Hirsch)

Marriage: Moses Fleischer, age 32, and Anna Hirsch, age 23, m. 4 February 1810. Witnesses: Lazar Hirsch [father of the bride] and Josua Schreiber.

According to her gravestone, Anna died on 19 July 1854, "age 72" [actually age 68]. This gravestone was one of the ones recently recovered in the restoration of the Prostejov Jewish cemetery. See: http://prostejov.zidovskyhrbitov.cz/en/2016/06/28/anna-chana-fleisc...

"The find of fragments of the gravestone of Anna Fleischer (née Hirsch), who died 19 July 1854, aged 72, was the first discovery of the campaign that helped to unveil the secrets of which no documents have been preserved in archives. The gravestone was used for farm outbuildings.

"Anna married Moises Fleischer 4 February 1810; the couple lived in the house no. 35 in the Jewish quarter. Baruch was one of their sons, whose direct descendant, retired diplomat Andrew Charles Koss, has been found in the USA. The inscription on the gravestone describes Anna as a virtuous and devout woman."

However, her death record calls her "Hani, widow of Moses Fleischer", and indicates that she died on 18 June 1854, "age 65".
