About Anna Maria (Mariah) Couturier

The declaration was first sent to President Madison on January 26 1811. He did not take it well, so a second letter was sent. Nov 20,1811, to no avail. Troops were sent, that plus the rumblings of the Creeks rising, ended the hope for the new nation - information provided by A. Michael Sanders.
