She remarried Jacob Doan on 14 Jan 1820 in Orange County, Indiana.

In the 1840 census Anna Doan resided in Richland Twp, Clinton County, OH.

In the 1850 census, Anna Doan resided in Jasper, Fayette County, OH.

Look up Daniel McHenry b. 1791 in PA and Moses McHenry, b. 1792 in PA to see if either of these might be brothers of Anna McHenry. Elias, b.1794 in PA, John b. 1787 in PA, William b. 1795 in PA, James b. 1786 in PA. If Anna had brothers, most like one of these people is a brother of hers.

Supposedly Anna McHenry was the daughter of James H. McHenry, however no records have been found to substantiate that claim. She might have been the daughter of William McHenry, b. 1745 and Mary Stewart, b. 1748. They had a daughter that was born in 1777, which would have been a more expected birth year for the wife of Alexander B. Culbertson, b.1778 and later Jacob Doan, b. 1760. It would be unusual for a woman to marry a man 12 years older than her, and later a man that was 30 years old than her.
