Source: Savage's New England Families before 1800. Ann petitioned the court when she was 87 for support from her descendants. "History of Lynn" by Lewis and Newhall states that in her will Ann speaks of her father "South."

Early Essex Deeds Vol. II shows that the widow Ann Ivory married William Croft some time between fourth month of 1665 and the second month of 1666.She was listed as the widow Ivory on the first deed and by the Croft name on the second deed.
