About Anna Maria Hay (Boyer)
Born in Pennsylvania, York County, Hellum township. Daughter of Johann Adam Boyer and Anna Rosina. The family was from Germany.
Married Adam Hay in 1770 in Northampton, PA Soon afterwards they moved to Virginia where they lived through the Revolutionary War.
Moved to Fairfield County, Ohio in 1801. Since Adam was 62, it seems likely that they moved with some married children.
After Adam died she sold her land to son, Peter.
Not sure exactly where she was buried, but it must be near Amanda, Fairfield Co, OH. There is no marker for her in this cemetery.
