About Anna "Nancy" Kratz Hunsberger
On the 14th of September 1863; in Hilltown, Bucks Co., Pa., Nancy, widow of Abraham Hunsberger, in the 70th year of her age. Ever ready to go, she waited long and patiently for the Master's coming. He came at last and took her home to rest in peace. I saw her a year ago, when her grandson, a boy of some thirteen years of age, had died, giving the most unmistakable evidience(sic) of a devoted Christian life, and a triumphant, happy death, when she said to me, "I had hoped that I could go before Ramadus, but it seems, it was not to be so." Thus resigned to "Our heavenly Fathers will," she kept her lamp brightly burning, until now that the bride groom hath come, and she has gone to be Him to the marriage feast. May we "also be ready" to go when the Master calls. J.F.F.
