i) ANNA Palaiologina Angelina (-after 1355). Ioannes Kantakuzenus names "Annæ…filiæ protovestiarii" as the wife of "Ioannis despotæ"[90]. Nicephoras Gregoras names "Anna" as wife of "Ioannes…Angelus…Cephalonum comitis"[91]. She poisoned her first husband, becoming regent of Epirus in 1335/1339 and 1341-1342. She was imprisoned in Constantinople 1342/49. The Historia Epiri records that "mater…Thomaidis…eiusque fratris…Anna regina nostra" married "cuidam ex Bulgaris, Comneno tyranno, fratri regis Stephani", adding that he ruled "Caninam et Belgradam"[92].
