Ann was born in 1831 and was the sixth child of James Zadok Bellamy and Hannah Singleton. In 1848, Ann married her first cousin James Bellamy, the son of her fathers brother and sister-in-law John Bellamy and Margaret Kelly. James had been born in 1826 in Pennant Hills. Ann and James marriage took place in the Newcastle District where James family were living. Ann and James had three children. Their first child, Matilda, was born the same year of their marriage and christened in the Newcastle district. In 1850 they had another daughter, Hannah who was christened in the Wollombi district. The year of 1850 brought much heartache for the family as both Matilda and Hannah died, leaving the couple childless. The following year of 1851 saw a son John was born, also in the Wollombi district. Unfortunately disaster struck again when in 1852, James Bellamy died at the young age of twenty-six years, leaving behind Ann and their infant son. It would seem that Ann moved back to Pennant Hills for in 1853 she married Isaac Mobbs, the son of another successful pioneering family. Isaac had been born in 1829, the son of Isaac Mobbs Snr and Ann Tomlinson. Isaacs grandfather, William Mobbs had arrived in Australia as a convict in 1797 on board the ship "Barwell". His wife Ann (nee Grover) and there children arrived later in 1801 on board the ship "Marquis Cornwallis". The Mobbs family also settled in the Pennant Hills district just south of where the Bellamys had their land and like the Bellamy family were very successful orchardists. Isaac Mobbs Senior had won prizes for his table grapes and other fruit at the Royal Show. It is interesting to note that Isaacs uncle, William Mobbs Jnr donated the land on which the Church he and Ann were married in (St Pauls) was built. Ann and Isaac had nine children, all registered at Parramatta but born at Pennant Hills. They were Mary Jane (1854), Ann L (1856), Adeline Matilda (1859), Isaac J (1860), Ada (1862), Robert Edwin (1864), Amy H (1867), Edith E (1869) and Arthur Zadock (1873). As with all of the others, they worked their land and were very successful at it. On 1st October, 1897, Ann died at the age of 67 years. She had suffered chronic bowel and stomach disease and exhaustion. She was buried the following day at St Paul
s, Carlingford (Pennant Hills). Isaac Mobbs died at Ryde in 1922 aged 93 years.
