About Anne Emma Dobbins

OBITUARY: Sunday, June 1, 1924 - Macon Telegraph, Macon, Georgia, page 25

MRS. ANNIE FARMER DOBBINS

ALBANY, Ga., May 31 - Mrs. Annie Farmer Dobbins, wife of Mr.E.M. Dobbins of this city, died at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital early yesterday morning. Mrs. Dobbins was a young woman who had made many friends here during a residence of several years, and her death was a sad shock to them. She had been ill for some time, and had undergone an operation from which she never recovered. An emergency operation was performed early yesterday in an effort to save her life, but it proved futile. The grief-stricken husband, accompanied by Mrs. T.A. Cannon, a sister of the deceased, left at noon for Frankfort, Ky., the old home of Mrs. Dobbins, where the funeral and interment will take place.
