About Anne I Grazioso
A Mass of Christian Burial for Anne I. Grazioso, 86, of Dover, was celebrated Monday, March 13, in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dover. Mrs. Grazioso died Thursday, March 9, 2006, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital, Milford.
Mrs. Grazioso was born in Braintree, Mass., daughter of the late Frederick and Bessie Smith Stimpson.
She served in the U.S. Army in the Women's Army Corps and was a World War II veteran.
Mrs. Grazioso moved to Dover in 1963, where she spent her life as a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Cross, Dover, where she was a member of the Senior Crusaders.
In her quieter moments, Mrs. Grazioso cherished the time spent with family and tending to her garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Grazioso, in 1991.
Mrs. Grazioso is survived by two sons, Donald Grazioso of Newark and Thomas W. Grazioso Jr. of Dover; three daughters, Judith Anne Moore of Hanover, Mass., Marilyn DiResta of Dover, and Ellen Ogden of Dover; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
