A previous version of this profile claimed that the Ann who married the Henry Lunt immigrant to Massachusetts was a) the Anne Carrington who married a Henry Lunt 23 May 1631 in Ormskirke, Lancashire,[1] and b) the daughter baptized 8 Nov 1614 in Lowdham, Nottinghamshire, England of Edwarde Carrington.[2] Ormskirke and Lowdham are 122 miles apart, suggesting an unlikelihood for this connection. In addition, there is strong circumstantial evidence that her husband, Henry Lunt, was born in South Marston, 130 miles from Lowdham and 178 miles from Ormskirke. All this suggests that the maiden name and origins of Ann(e), wife of PGM immigrant Henry Lunt, is not known.
