Aunt Shannon says: While it is true the others went by their middle names, Uncle

Bob was always Robert or Bob and Mother was always Anne or Anne Elizabeth. They were named for their parents. Aunt Loretto was named for Papa's sister Agnes and the sisters who became nuns in the order at Loretto, KY. Uncle Shannon was named for Miss Annie's dad. I think Papa had a brother named Joe but I don't have any idea where the John Louis or Anthony came from.
