• I, Eleanor Dent of CC, being at present in a low and sickly state of health but of a sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding;
• To niece Elizabeth Dent Peyton, 1/6 part of the appraisment amount of my slaves.
• To nephew Johannis Greenfield Dent Storke, 1/6 part of the appraisment amount of my slaves.
• To sister Jane Dent the residue of my personal estate and whereas it is my wish that the children of my brothers and sister Ann Parnham should (after the death of my sister Jane, to whom from a sense of obligation and gratitude I now leave the greater part of my estate) receive a part of my negro property, I therefore request her to secure by will or otherwise to the children of my brothers Henry Dent and George Dent and of my sister Ann Parnham a portion of the negro property.
