About Antheunis Tunis Hood, I

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/64458830/tunis-hood

Reuben Hood was the son of Tunis Hood, and they lived in what is now Mint Hill, NC. Tunis is still buried in an old graveyard off NC 51, but Reuben's grave was desecreated by developers. We are now fighting to save the Tunis grave from the same fate.

Line is as follows:

Jan "Johannes" Hood (sometimes spelled Hoed or Hude) + Jasper

Jan "Johan" Hood

+ Rachel Van Benachoten

Jasper Hood + Catherina Andries

tree error here - Tunis was the son of Catherina's son John Hood born 1699 and John's wife Rachel van Bunschoten. That is why Tunis is not listed among Catherina's five baptised children through 1711.

Tunis Hood + Elizabeth Harrison
Reuben Hood
+ Jane Irwin
