Samuel died ca 1798 in Shelby Co., KY. He married twice. He married Antie Losier ca 1728. Antie is the daughter of Nicholas Losier and Tryntie Slot. Antie became the mother of Davidt Demaree in Hackensack, NJ, ca 1729. Antie became the mother of Niclaes Demaree in Schraalenburg, NJ, ca 1730. He married Leah Demarest in Schraalenburg, NJ, September 16, 1732. Leah was born in Hackensack, NJ August 30, 1713. Leah was the daughter of Peter Demarest and Maretie Meet. Leah died before February 16, 1799 in Kentucky, at approximately 85 years of age. Leah became the mother of Antjin "Annie" Demaree in Schraalenburg, NJ, ca 1733. Leah became the mother of Maria "Mary" Demaree in Schraalenburg, NJ, ca 1735. Leah became the mother of Petrus "Peter" Demaree in Schraalenburg, NJ, ca 1737. When he married Leah Demarest, he went by the name of Demaree. Samuel and Leah about 1741 went to Bucks County, Pennsylvania then returned briefly to New York City and in 1779-1780 went to Kentucky, traveling via Pittsburgh and the Ohio River to Maysville, Kentucky, thence by a trace to the vicinity of Pleasureville, Kentucky settling in the "Dutch Tract."Preview not available.
