Archie L. Lambert

Funeral servces for archie L.Lambert,86,of Rt.5,Ava,Mo will be held at 10 a.m.Saturday,March 2,1996 at Clinkingbeard chapel with the Rev.J.D.Williams officiating. Burial will be in the New hope Cemetery.A lifelong resident of the Ava area.He died Feb.28,1996 at Meadowbrook Manor,following a long illness.He was a farmer & a member of the Evansdale Church.

  Born June 12,1909 in Douglas County,Mo.to Joseph & Viney Cooley Lambert.On Jan.19,1934 at Gainsville,Mo.he married Viona Hicks,who survives.Also surviving are four sons,Bill,wes,Dain & Charles,all of Ava,Mo.;one daughter, Glenna,of Springfield,Mo.one brother,Ferley,of Ava,Mo.;two sisters,Golda & Reva,both of Ava,Mo.;ten grandchildren;12 great-0grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents,one brother,the Rev.Clark Lambert.
