Ardella "Mattie" Smith

Daughter of Nancy Dean and William Smith, Jr.; wife of Needham Smith.

Ardella and Needham were the parents of Louisa Smith Bryan (1821–1839), Harriett Smith Walker (1822–1854), Deborah Ann Smith Roquemore McDonald (1828–1895), Mary Ann Smith Burney (1831–1857), Drupina Smith Feagin (1833–1920), Elizabeth A "Bettie" Smith Fordham (1839–1912) and Martha I "Mattie" Smith Bailey (1845–1929).
