Death : May 13 , 2005 , Midvale , Salt Lake County , Utah , USA . Arley J. Johnson "Mike" Arley Johnson passed away at his home after a long illness .  He was born January 28 , 1928 in Sandy , Utah to Arthur and Amanda Silcox Johnson .  On April 1 1955 Arley married Arvilla Kummer in Las Vegas . Nevada .  Arvilla preceded him in death .  Arley worked for A & L and Alta View Cement Companies for many years . During the Korean War , he served in the U.S. army .  Arley's greatest accomplishments were his family , his generosity , and love for his family and friends .  Survivors are a son , Ron Holt (Barbara) ; daughter , Karma Brafford ; 10 grandchildren ; 11 great-grandchildren ; and two great great grandchildren ; brother , Francis Johnson ; sister , Lorna Osborne Kummer .  Funeral services will be held Tuesday , May 17 , 2005 at 11a.m. in the Goff Mortuary , 8090 So. State where friends may call Monday 6 - 8p.m. or Tuesday from 9.45 - 10.45a.m. Interment Sandy City Cemetery ."
