About Arnold Harrison

The valuable and select COLLECTION of PAINTINGS, the genuine property of Arnold Harrison, Esq., and removed from his residence at Aigburth for the convenience of unreserved sale. In the collection will be found, amongst the old masters, The Sleeping Cupid, an acknowledged fine, picture, by Guido ; characteristic Head of a Female, Spagnoletto; Head of a Youth, by Gerrado due'la Notte ; The Stag Hunt. Wouvermans ; Landscape and Figures, ditto; Italian Landscape, Swaneveldt; ditto, with Cattle and Figures, Zuccarelli; View in Venice, Guardi; Woody Landscape, de Heusch; with specimens of Teniers, Molinaer, Ostade, Niefs, Van Goyen, Breughel, Elsheimer, Vanderneer, &c. The works of modern artists, of the British Schools, comprise The Capture of Smugglers by Banditti, a fine work of Sir Francis Bourgeois ; Welsh Scenery, with Cattle. S.
