Decatur Co., GA, Probate Minutes: June 7, 1869 May 11, 1869: The petition of Jesse D. Gill, one of the heirs at law by right of his wife, formerly Nancy E. King shows that Harmon Straickland as Administrator of estate of John W. King, late of said county is wasting said estate. he bought from estate to his advantage, etc. Requiring him to appear in court. Nov. 12, 1869-Strickland was removed. Having made final settlement and turned over property to J.D. Gill.
