Artency (Howton) McGregor

Daughter of David and Elizabeth Castleberry Howton.

She married Shadrach McGregor on 14 OCT 1846.

The 1850 census revealed He was a farmer and they were living in Hopkins Co, Kentucky next door to his parents and their son James was nine months old. Her nineteen year old brother was living with them.

The 1860 census revealed they had moved to Princeton, Caldwell Co, Kentucky and had two sons and four daughters.

The 1870 census revealed they had eleven children at home.

The 1880 census revealed they had four sons and and five daughters still at home. Their son James and his family was living next door.

The 1900 census revealed they had been married fifty-three years and that she had twelve children nine still living.
