On 12th April, 1832, another Arthur Hoskin, who has been born on 9th August, 1810, at Hosworthy, Devon, was married to Eliza Fry, who was a daughter of John Fry and was born in 1810 at Stratton, Cornwall, England. Arthur was the second child of nine born to Josiah Hoskin and Grace Facy who has been married on 6th May, 1806. Arthur and Eliza Hoskin has two sons, William Fry and Arthur John born in 1833 and 1838 respectively, in Cornwall, England. Arthur and Eliza decided to emigrate to New Zealand and with their two children came to New Plymouth on the Amelia Thompson which sailed from Plymouth on 25th March, 1841, arriving on 3rd September, 1841. Several year after their arrival in the new country their third child, Elizabeth Grace, was born at New Plymouth on 18th July, 1847. Eliza died at Bell Block on 28th November, 1863 and Arthur died on 3rd August, 1864.
