Arthur Lewis Seay

Arthur Lewis Seay, 85, of Spotsylvania County went to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 22, 2016. Mr. Seay was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Seay; daughter Denise Hamlett-Brooks (Doyle); granddaughter Melissa Hamlett; sisters Virgie Knight (Ralph) and Lucille Gatewood (Leroy); brother Thomas Seay; best friend David Collins; numerous nieces and nephews; and granddog Barney. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Alsop, Barbara Edenton and Virginia Limbrick; and brothers William and Johnny Seay.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A service will be held at noon Friday, Feb. 26, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
