- "He was born on 18 June 1890 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
- "He was a lawyer at Catron & Catron.
- "He was married, was of medium height and a slender build, with brown eyes and brown hair."

- Fletcher earned his Ph.D. in 1914 at the University of Chicago, and his J.D. degree in 1916 at the University of Chicago Law School. He was admitted to law practice in 1916 and served as the Assistant District Attorney of the First Judicial District of New Mexico from 1918 to 1920, and in 1926. He was a Special Tax Attorney for Santa Fe County from 1927-1928, and an Assistant U.S. Attorney for New Mexico from 1929 to 1933. See page 161 of Who's Who in Law. Volume I, 1937. Edited by J.C.
